6. Important Considerations & Requirements
Venting is REQUIRED: Like all single-hose portable ACs, this unit must be vented outside to expel hot air. The window kit is designed for sliding windows or cracked car windows. It is not effective if used without proper venting.
Power Source: Requires a stable 436W of AC power. Not designed for standard low-wattage DC (cigarette lighter) outlets in cars.
Space Limitations: Best for small, well-shaded spaces. It will not cool a large, sun-exposed tent on a very hot day.
Condensation: While it features auto-evaporation, in extremely humid conditions, water may collect and need to be manually drained.
